Meet the SHEQNOLOGY Team
Carla Reinecke
MD
Carla’s passion for SHEQ Management prompted the start of Sheqnology (Pty) Ltd with her vision of sharing her experience to help businesses too small to employ SHEQ staff yet too large to be without.
With 17 years’ experience in the Mining, minerals, processing and production industries. Carla thrives on expanding her knowledge and sharing her knowledge and experience in Construction, Engineering and Supply chain industries. Qualified in developing and implementing ISO 9001:2018 Quality Management systems and ISO 45001:2018 Integrated Management systems.
In 2011 Carla became part of the Phoenix Platinum Pilot plant team and was key in drafting and implementing a SHEQ system which is still considered as a major achievement prior to her creation Sheqnology (Pty) Ltd.
Sheqnology (Pty) Ltd has grown and expanded beyond Carla’s SME compliance aspirations. Carla has within the past three years spearheaded Smelter and Production Operation compliance for a JSE listed organization resulting in a commendation for a well implemented safety system by external auditors.
As an avid horse rider and owner Carla has learned to never give up and believes that the end is never the end there is always more to achieve, more to learn and this can only be achieved as a working together as a team.
Caiphus Oupa Chidi
SHEQ Consultant
Caiphus Oupa Chidi is a diligent and enthusiastic SHEQ Consultant with 11 years’ experience and has been part of the Sheqnology team for 3 years.
Oupa was also part of the Phoenix Platinum Pilot Project team. Gaining most of his experience through this project however expanding his knowledge through ISO 45001:2018 Integrated Management systems auditors training.
Oupa is competent in implement systems and guiding his clients to statuary and client specific requirements. He has furthered his knowledge recently by qualifying as a competent fall protection planner and developer.
For the past 3 years Oupa has been the key consultant, implementing and managing a Contractors Management system and part of a team implemented a document system with the key focus on Engineering operations for a Smelting and processing Operation.
This has expanded his knowledge further in the Mining and Minerals processing and production industries
Oupa is a dedicated family man with high priority placed on his family devotion to his church. Oupa spreads the safety culture both within his professional position and within his community.
